BMA Blackwater Mine, a joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd, is an open-cut coal mine located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, Australia. BMA are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, while providing a positive and supportive work environment for our employees.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Dragline Operator at Blackwater Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our mining operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. Key responsibilities include:

• Safely and skillfully operating Dragline's adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.

• Transporting overburden, coal, and other materials from mining areas to designated dumping points within the mine site.

• Conducting pre-start checks, routine inspections, and reporting any equipment defects or issues promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Dragline in a mining or heavy industry environment.

• Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).

• Competency in operating 8050 Marion's, 8200 Marion's and BE1370 UDD Draglines.
