ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Mutli-Skilled or Single Skilled Operator at Goonyella Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our Coal Mining operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. These roles are on a 7/7 roster, rotating days and nights. Your key responsibilities include:

• Safely and skilfully operating Dozers, Loaders, Diggers, Haul Trucks all while adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.

• Assisting the Crews with maintaining Haul Roads, Bunding and other working areas of the mine site.

• Conducting pre-start checks, routine inspections, and reporting any equipment defects or issues promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an operator in a mining or heavy industry environment.

• Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).

• Competency in operating Dozers, Loaders, Diggers, Haul Trucks, Graders etc.
