Electricians - Mackay Region

- $50.00 per hour base rate + penalties

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking suitably experienced and motivated Electricians to join our Clients team on a casual 6 month basis to work in the Mackay region..!

You will be working 5 days a week.

As an experienced and skilled Electrician, you must be reliable, safety conscious, punctual and physically fit.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Electrical maintenance - Repairing, installing and maintenance

- UG Mining and other equipment - fans, small motors, components

- Work at the local Coal Terminal Dalrymple Bay - $2.50 per hour extra when working at the Port

- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with guidelines and criteria

- Demonstrate adherence to planned work schedules relating to the maintenance and repairs

Skills and Experience

-Electrical experience - Trade cert & Electrical license mandatory

-Substantial & demonstrate electrical maintenance skills

-Sound level of skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication

-Drivers Licence, CPR/LVR

-CBM, Working at Heights, AS3800 - advantageous

-If working at DBCT - they will require Marine Safety Card (MSIC) card (clear criminal history)
