About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client Rio Tinto for a 6 month duration with the possibility of extension located in Hope Downs 1. This role will be working an 8 days on, 6 days off day shift roster.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical engineering support to the site services and dewatering functions
Analysis of the water network & components to optimise performance
Project management of minor upgrades to the water network
Analyse data and understand trends to make data-driven decisions
Provide technical reporting and clear communication to stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Practical experience with dewatering or pump/piping systems, preferably in remote mine site operations.
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
