Excavator Operators

• $64 - $69/hour based on experience| Working for a TIER 1 mining contractor.

• FIFO from Perth| 2:1 or 2:2 Roster

• Permanent full-time position

What you will be doing

WorkPac is looking foran experienced production Excavator operator for a role based at Iron Bridge. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years mining production excavator experience. You will be operating Hitachi EX3600 and Cat 6060. Successful candidates will work 12-hour days on a 2:1 or 2:2 roster.

In this role, you will:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output

• Complying with Clients policies and procedures

• Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor

• Excavating to design boundaries of ore bodies, berms and pit walls

• Ensuring floor levels are maintained

• Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances

• Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards

• Carrying out pre-start checks

• Newly renovated camp accommodation

• 2 gyms + a women???s only gym, sports games and gym classes

About you

• At least 2 years mining experience as mining production excavator operator

• Equivalent to or specific experience operating Hitachi EX3600 and CAT6060 is essential

• Experience in loading dump trucks in a mining production environment essential

• Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration

• Skills to mine out benches and cutting batters, leaving minimal amount of material for final trim to design of batter angle

• HR drivers licence (desirable)

• Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
