About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to assist our client with metal fabrication and repairs of products from a large residential and commercial clientele base.

Skills & Experience Required

• An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;

• Sound knowledge of MIG, TIG and Aluminium welding process

• Experience in repair work, reading drawings and general fabrication

• Keen eye for detail, presentation, and craftsmanship;

• Current Forklift Ticket or willingness to obtain one;

• Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence;

• National Police Clearance (dated within 1 year);

• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Key accountabilities:

• Fabricating and welding (as per qualifications);

• Setting out and interpreting workshop/engineering drawings;

• Cutting and measuring materials to meet specifications;

• Managing time to work within deadlines;

• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace;

• Working unsupervised
