About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a experienced Fixed Plant Fitter for a 6 month contract (high potential for ongoing) position at Cape Lambert. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Supervisor, you will be repairing and maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, apron feeders and carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.

Seeking experienced Fixed Plant Fitters for roles in the Pilbara.

Skills and Experience:

- Mechanical Trade Qualified Boilermaker / Maintainer , experienced in Fixed Plant.
- Recent Fitter experience in an Iron Ore Fixed / Mobile Plant or similar
- Experience with conveyors and hydraulics
- Knowledge and understanding of OHS practices and commitment to contributing towards zero harm
- Current Australian 'C' class driver licence
- HR Drivers Licence (preferred)
- High Risk Licence - WP Class (preferred)
- Confined Space Certificate (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
-Excellent diagnostic fault finding abilities and experience
-Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded

Where you will be working

port facilities consist of three shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert, which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
