About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Food Technologist to join our client based in Coopers Plains on a Monday to Friday Roster. A great opportunity to develop, process, and analyse new and novel food products. The position will be responsible for assisting in the development of value added products and processes across a range of commodities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivery of projects within the Indigenous Food Program

• Develop new value added products and processes across a range of food sectors

• Product development project and research initiatives

• Prepare proposals, costing, contracts, reports and publications

• Supervise and undertake routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and laboratory hygiene standards

To be successful in this position, you will have the following experience/skills

• A degree in Food Technology

• Proven experience working in Food Technologist

• Experience in new product development or related experience

• High level communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated project management skills
