About the role

Our client is currently looking for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team in the Tamworth area as a Foreman to lead the team. The role will include assigning jobs, managing the team, mechanical repairs, diagnosing faults and full diesel servicing. As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's project requirements. You will be highly motivated, reliable and be committed to safe work practices and continuous improvement principles.

Duties

• Manage work schedule and a team of qualified mechanics

• Diesel engine maintenance

• Diesel engine repairs

• Diesel engine diagnosing

Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a foreman in a high paced environment

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Must be prepared to work unsupervised

• Engine Experience is a must. Cummins CAT & Detroit

• The successful applicant MUST be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
