About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced forklift operators for the following positions/locations:

Northern Suburbs:

Somerton

LF High Reach (double deep experience)

AM Shift

6am to 2pm x2- $30.74 per hour

PM Shift

2pm to 10pm x1 -$33.85

Western Suburbs:

Laverton North

LF High Reach

AM shifts

6am to 2.06pm x4- $31.82 per hour

PM shifts

2.30pm to 10.30pm x3- $35.65 per hour

Night shifts

10pm/10:30pm to 6am x8 - $39.46 per hour

Altona

LF -High Reach

AM shift

6am to 2pm x1- $30.85 per hour

Counter Balance/LO

AM shift

10am to 6pm x1 - $30.85 per hour

Altona North

LF (high reach)/LO

AM shift

6am to 2pm x1 - $35.35 per hour

Night shift

10pm to 6am x1 - $43.83 per hour

LO

Night Shift

10pm to 6am x 1- $43.83per hour

These roles are all on-going casual positions with the opportunity to go full time with our client depending on your performance and reliability.

When applying for these roles - please mention which shift you are after.

Roles are suitable for candidates who can go up to 7 racks high on the high reach at a minimum.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operating our clients high reach forklifts

• Also operating our clients cherry picker forklifts if you have a current LO license

• Will be loading/unloading containers, trucks

• Moving stock around as directed by our client

• Any other general labourer duties as directed by our client

• Working and operating in a fast-paced environment safely

• Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site

Skills/Experience:

• Min. 6 months of forklift driving experience on the high reach (need to be able to go up to 7 racks high)

• If applying for the LO forklift position, will also need min. 6 months experience operating a cherry picker forklift.

• Current high risk - LF/LO ticket

• Police check - current or be willing to get one

• Be able to carry out the duties listed above without supervision - this is not an entry level role.

• Physically fit to carry out the duties listed

• Can pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test

• Double vaccinated against COVID-19/Valid Medical Exemption Letter

• Be reliable

• Have your own car to get to work

• Have full working rights in Australia - this position has full time work hours
