Our client are experts in cargo logistics, offering superior service and productivity through the smart use of technology. Due to growth and increased workload, positions for Forklift Operators have become available at the Port of Brisbane.

About the position:

If successful you will be employed across a varying roster with shifts per week being sporadic, depending on weekly scope of workload. All shifts are 12hrs with both days & night shifts required. Your duties in this role will include loading/unloading cargo from large shipping containers manually along with operating forklifts. You must be comfortable with manual labouring as this role is labour intensive.

What you will need:

• Must have current forklift licence with recent operating experience

• Physically fit and ability to lift & carry up to 20kgs

• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical with Drug & Alcohol tests

• Previous dockhand experience highly desirable but not essential
