About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Front-end Developer to join our client Rio Tinto's Exploration Technical Knowledge team based in Belmont, on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• User interface design and development of web-based applications using Python DASH, HTML, CSS and Javascript

• User experience â workflows, performance, responsive design and other improvements within the web-based applications

• Creating and checking on automated testing and other deployment tasks

• As part of the data science team, collaborating and seeking input from geologists on new feature requests

• Integration with various backend data sources and machine-learning models as the app expands

Skills and Experience Required:

• Web software development 2+ years experience â HTML, CSS, JS

• Proficiency in Python Programming

• Demonstrated experience in software engineering practices â version control, tickets, SCRUM

• UI and UX

• Agile/SCRUM experience in a team setting

• Data visualisation and exposure to scientific settings advantageous

• Continuous learning and open mindset
