Job Title: General Hand

Location:Charmhaven

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:30 am starts

About The Client:

Our Client is a leading provider of Steel reinforcement solutions, committed to delivering high-quality products to their Customers, are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our factory operations as a General Hand.

Responsibilities:

As a General Hand, your primary responsibilities will include:

Picking Reo Mesh:

• Efficiently and accurately pick reo mesh according to orders.

• Ensure the quality and quantity of materials meet company standards.

Loading and Unloading Trucks:

• Safely load and unload trucks with the required materials.

• Follow proper lifting and handling procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Operating Gantry Crane:

• Operate a Gantry crane to move materials within the factory.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during crane operations.

Reading Packing Lists:

• Read and understand packing lists to accurately pick and fulfill orders.

• Maintain attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of the role.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.

• Ability to read and comprehend packing lists.

• Willingness to undergo training in operating a Gantry crane and other relevant tasks.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to pass Police clearance
