About Our Client

Our client is one of Australiaâs largest producers of coal for export, with 17 operational mines across New South Wales and Queensland. They produce thermal coal, semi-soft and coking coal from six mines in the Bowen Basin, which is exported from the Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay, RG Tanna and Wiggins Island coal export terminals.

About the Role

The role requires an experienced electrician for a high level of understanding for residential Maintenance works in Clermont. The work will include general fixtures and fitting replacements, Hot water repairs, Switchboard upgrades and repairs, Commercial Kitchen equipment repairs, Test and tagging. Cold room, cold Bain maintenance and High wall, Cassette air conditioning maintenance and installs. You will be working on approx. 100 Residential homes and 511 Room accommodation village in Central Qld, working a minimum of 10 hours per day Mon -Fri. 

This is an immediate opportunity, so we need people who are ready to mobilise immediately.

Skills and Experience

• Current QLD contractor QLD Electrical licence

• Current Refrigeration Licence (Highly Regarded)

• Available for an immediate start

• LVR CPR

• White card

• Working at Heights

• Has own tools

Company housing is available at reduced rental rates is available as follows:

The company is willing to offer a rental rate for a labour hire person with a family would be as follows:

$100 / week for first year

$50 / week for second year

$30/week for subsequent years
