About the role:

Are you a motivated individual seeking a career in Mining? WorkPac are currently recruiting New to Industry Operators to join our Production team at an Open Cut coal mine site near Werris Creek. Previous exposure to machinery operating is required or experience working in a highly regulated industry.

What you will need:

• Drivers Licence (P2 minimum) and can confidently drive manual

• Residential address located within 1hrs drive to Werris Creek

• Previous experience operating machinery such as Tractors, farming equipment, mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, cranes OR experience working in a highly regulated industryâs such as Underground Mining, High Voltage Electrical etc

• Ability to undertake an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol testing

• National Police Check (or willing to obtain)

• CMI check (or willing to obtain)

What you will be doing:

• Learn how to safely operate Dump Trucks in a coal mining environment

• Working both Day and Night shifts on a 7/4, 5/5 roster

• Meeting KPIs within the coal production environment
