Roster: 2/2 roster - FIFO from Perth to Barrow Island

Salary: $66.44 per hour FLAT

About the role:

Are you an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Fitter looking for a new opportunity in the construction and maintenance industry? We are seeking a qualified individual to join our client. If you meet the requirements and have the expertise we're looking for, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years post-trade experience in the construction/maintenance industry.

• Ideally 2+ years FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) experience.

• Trade Certificate Diesel Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

• Class C, HR DriverLicense.

• Forklift license (Mandatory).

• Working at Heights certification (within the last 3 years).

• Elevated Work Platform certification (Desirable).

• Cert II ??? Tyre Fitting (Desirable but not essential).

• White Card (Mandatory).

Scope of Responsibilities:

As an HD Fitter with our team, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and servicing of all sites heavy vehicle fleet, including but not limited to diesel generators, buses, reach stackers, fire trucks, forklifts, and LVs.

• Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns across the site fleet.

• Completion of planned maintenance and servicing tasks.

• Maintenance of work logs, repairs, and maintenance records on the MSD system.

• Maintaining stock levels of parts and re-ordering if necessary.

• Prioritizing daily works efficiently.

• Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order.

• Operating and maintaining the service truck.

• Basic computer skills.
