About our client

Operating across Queensland, our client is the primary provider for all Fire & Emergency Services. With the importance of ensuring all vehicles and equipment are always to a high standard, they are now requiring the services of an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their team located in Eagle Farm.

About the role

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm for a period of 6 months, with the opportunity to extend based on performance. Your core duties will consist of providing maintenance and general servicing to cab chassis, trucks and small engines on generators and pumps. To be successful in this role you must be a qualified Mechanic with a strong background in a similar role. Although this is a Heavy Diesel Mechanical role, applicants with Light Vehicle experience will be considered.

What you will need

• Current Drivers Licence (Medium Rigid Desirable)

• Vehicle Mechanic Trade Certificate

• Pump, Hydraulic and pneumatics experience

• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening

• Committed to a minimum 6 month contract and available immediately
