Located in Muswellbrook in the NSW Hunter Valley, Bengalla is well established open cut coal mine that focus on maintaining strong safety, productivity, and profitability results with mining consent through until 2039.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, WorkPac is seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians to be permanently employed for Bengalla Mining Company. This position is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a well-established Maintenance Team completing 12.5 hour shifts working a family friendly lifestyle roster.

What you will be doing
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will be responsible for:
Performing inspections and routine servicing on plant and mobile plant equipment such as Excavators, Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Loaders
Completing diagnostic and fault finding maintenance in a workshop or field environment
Performing of statutory testing and electrical installations
Maintaining a strong safety focus and compliance with site procedures and policies

What you will need
Electrical Trade Qualification (HV Electrician)
High Voltage Switching accreditation
1 Year minimum experience with maintenance of heavy mining equipment (Hitatchi, Cat and Komatsu)
Current Drivers Licence with reliable transport
Ability to pass an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
