What you will be doing:
Are you an experienced High Voltage (HV) Electrician seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the mining industry? Our client is currently looking for a skilled HV Electrician to join their team in maintaining and optimizing their electrical systems.
You will be working at a coal mine which is located 118km north of Emerald, approximately a 2 hour drive on a 7/7 roster.
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage electrical mining equipment.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime and optimize production output.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety inspections.
$64.40 â $71.41 per hour pending experince.
What you will need:
Drivers Licence (front & back)
Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical or HA Report
Valid electrical trade certification and High Voltage Switching qualification
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and procedures
Proven experience with a variety of CAT, Liebherr & Hitachi earthmoving equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
