About the Client

Operating 7 days a week and open public holidays, our client is seeking Kitchen Assistants to join their growing team in a permanent part time capacity. You will ideally have 6-12 months experience in the hospitality industry and have experience working as a kitchen hand responsible for food preparation and assisting bakers. An interview prior to commencement will be arrange with the client.

About The Role

As a Kitchen assistant you will be required to work 3-4 days per week in a busy bakery cafe in Warana. Work closely with other Bakers and the Production Manager to maintain consistency in the product and high-quality.

Be prepared to work across a range of shifts. The production teams work between the hours of 3am until 2pm with different shift types:

1. Shift 1 - 3am to 11am

2. Shift 2 - 5am to 1pm

3. Shift 3 - 7am to 2pm

Duties

• Lifting and moving heavy materials such as flour

• Assisting bakers

• Prepping food items

• Cleaning kitchen

What you will need

• Drivers Licence and Transport

• Minimum 6months hospitality experience

• Available for different shift types and minimum 25 hours

• Available for an immediate start

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work within a tightly knit team
