About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking Trade Assistants for our client based in Rutherford. We have four exciting positions available, each offering a unique opportunity to contribute to different facets of our clients operations. This role requires individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn. If you're looking for a challenging yet rewarding role with opportunities for growth, this position is for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trade Assistant - Painting and Sandblasting Team: Assisting with sandblasting and painting tasks (previous experience preferred).

• Trade Assistant - Fusionkote Repairs Team: Conducting Fusionkote repairs with provided training.

• Trade Assistant - Concrete Handlining Team: Assisting the concrete handlining team with various tasks.

• Trade Assistant - Truck Load Out Team: Operating forklifts and cranes for truck load-out (experience highly regarded).

All positions involve:

• Receipting in products from suppliers and ensuring accurate documentation.

• Monitoring stock levels and initiating orders as necessary.

• Unloading deliveries using forklifts (forklift license required).

• Emptying bins, cleaning pipes, and packing materials on pallets.

• Engaging in general laboring duties as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in relevant fields is preferred but not mandatory as full training will be provided.

• Forklift licence is required for unloading deliveries and operating within the warehouse.

• Experience with sandblasting, painting, or concrete handlining is advantageous.

• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes for truck load-out is highly regarded.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Physical fitness and ability to handle manual labour tasks.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

• Current Australian driver's licence
