About the role

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Truck Driver to collect and drop off liquid waste including septic, oily waters, acids and solid material eg sand using the following collection process:

• The truck is driven and parked as close to the pickup point possible

• Hoses are lifted off the truck and connected to the vehicle. Up to 12 hoses may be connected to a max length of 120 metres (if required).

• Trap or manhole covers are raised and dragged using a gattick lifter

• The hose is placed in the hole and held securely in the liquid (duration 15-30minutes).

• When the liquid has been collected, the truck is driven back to the depot for unloading (unloading via controls inside cabin).

Operators will start in Welshpool at 4am.

Successful candidates must be immunised, flu shot, have a commercial drivers medical and police clearance.

This is not just a truck driving position but a manual job with opportunity to grow.

To be considered you must have / be willing to obtain:

• Unrestricted HR drivers licence

• Proven past experience

• Influenza Vaccination (or willing to obtain)

• Commercial drivers medical (or willing to obtain)

• Ability to pass a medical and Dug & Alcohol Test

• Current police clearance (or willing to obtain)

• Rights to work in Australia
