TYRE FITTER

About Our Client:

Our client is a diversified contractor with leading capabilities in surface and underground mining, civil construction and resources engineering. Established in 1990 and with over 1000 staff employed our client operates in Queensland, SA, WA, NSW, Victoria and the NT within remote and city centres.

What Will You Be Doing?

The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform work on Excavators, Haul Trucks, Water Carts, Dozers, Graders, Loaders and Drills. As an experienced qualified Tyre Fitter, you are responsible for fitting, fixing, removing or replacing tyres on all machinery on site. The successful candidate will be able to conduct visual and dimensional tests and have the ability to maintain, install and assign engineering components of the machinery and equipment to an agreed quality standard.

What You Will Need:

⢠Proven experience as a mine site tyre fitter

⢠Valid QLD Driver license

⢠Standard 11

⢠Coal board (willing to obtain)

⢠Trade certificate

⢠Effective Communication skills

Benefits:

⢠$79.88 p/hr

⢠7/7 Roster- Day and Night Shift

⢠Opportunity to go perm after 6 months.
