About Our Client:

Our client provides a full range of construction diving services, both inshore and offshore. There projects include: Subsea inspections, repair & maintenance ,Pile remediation, Pipeline Repairs and Abandonments, Search & Recovery / Salvage Diving, Construction Diving, Jetty and wharf inspection, testing and repair, Mooring repair and replacement, Hull inspection and repair, and NDT Services - Environmental Assessment and Project Management.

About the Role

We are looking for a Marine Labourers to work on a pipeline that runs across a passage of water in Gladstone for approximately 3 months work in the Gladstone area. You will be required to travel to and from the Pipeline via a boat. The preferred candidate's should have previous experience in working on or around water.

Skills and Experience

Labouring activities related to the upgrade of a pipeline including but not limited to:

• Preparing equipment and materials for onsite use

• Remedial jacket installation including above water wrapping and grouting

• Removing and installing cross beams and associated works

• Painting protective solutions onto timber surfaces

• High pressure water cleaning of surfaces above water

• Daily travel to and from pipeline via boat

• Maintenance/cleaning of equipment

• Servicing of equipment within skill level

• Assisting occupational dive teams within skill level

• Actively participate in toolbox/site meetings

To be considered for the role you must have:

• Ability to work on water and to transfer to job site daily by boat

• Experience in any of the above areas

• Construction Card

• Drivers Licence

• Working at Heights ticket and/or a trade such as carpentry desirable but not essential.
