About the Client

Operating since early 2014, our client has a strong focus on delivering traffic infrastructure and electrical reticulation projects throughout Queensland looking after both metropolitan and regional areas. They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a workshop-based position in Yatala.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday - Friday working 8hour days. You will be required to undertake maintenance and repair of the client's fleet of light vehicles, trucks and plant machinery at the company's Yatala base. You will have a minimum of three years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter with a strong focus on plant machinery and fleet vehicles being an advantage. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs, fault finding, running diagnostics on all fleet vehicles and associated machinery.

What you will need

• Mechanical Fitter qualified

• Welding experience an advantage

• White Card

• Able to attend a face to face interview with the client prior to commencing

• Available to commit to an ongoing permanent position

• Minimum three years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter
