About the Client

A well-established company operating throughout the Metal Recycling industry is looking to expand their current team with temporary to permanent opportunities for Mechanical Fitters on offer, located in Rocklea. This company provides customized recycling services to meet individual needs of commercial and industrial scrap metal producers.

What you will be doing

If successful, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance across a variety of machinery such as Conveyors in a workshop / yard-based role. The ideal candidate will not only be a qualified Mechanical Fitter, but you will also have experience fitting and troubleshooting in a production or industrial environment. Before commencing in this role, you will have the option of working dayshifts or afternoon shifts, with positions available across both on a Monday to Friday roster.

This role is a temporary to permanent opportunity, successful candidates will have the ability to go permanent with the company after a 3 month probation period.

What you will need

• Must be a qualified Mechanical Fitter

• Minimum of 6 months experience required in your trade

• Previous experience in the metal recycling industry highly desirable but not mandatory

• Current Drivers License with reliable transport

• Current resume with 2 x work related references
