Mechanical Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Supervisor to work locally in Townsville. The successful candidate will have Knowledge of split system AC installation, repairs, and maintenance (mandatory), Knowledge of split system AC installation, repairs, and maintenance (mandatory), Intermediate level of MS Excel skills including being able to create spreadsheets to monitor AC breakdown status, and use existing spreadsheets to enter and review data, Experience assessing condition of split system Air Conditioning (desirable), Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers and in-house staff both written and verbal.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring and reviewing project standards to achieve compliance with industry best practice and agreed cost and time parameters

• Reporting to senior supervisor on planning and delivery of ACRRP projects

• Creating and carrying out start up, safety and completion inspections for ACRRP projects

• Provide technical advice to Contractors in terms of repair/replacement decisions

• Carry out A/C inspections to generate scope of works for replacement projects

• Review Condition Reports provided by contractors recommending A/C replacement to validate the recommendations are correct

• Provide reporting on repair/replacement status of projects.

• Undertake on-site Condition assessment of existing split system ACs using a client assessment template

Skills/Qualifications

• HVAC mechanical trade qualification

• Driverâs licence

• Criminal history check

• Attention to detail

• Strong communication with time management skills
