Mining Operator - Entry Level

About the role:

Are you a motivated individual seeking to build your career in Mining? WorkPac are currently recruiting new to industry operators at an open cut coal mine site near Boggabri. Previous exposure to machinery operating is required or experience working in a highly regulated industry.

What you will need:

• Full C Class Licence and can confidently drive manual

• Residential address located within 1hrs drive to the mine site

• Previous experience operating machinery such as Tractors, farming equipment, mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, cranes OR experience working in a highly regulated industry's such as Underground Mining, High Voltage Electrical etc

• Ability to undertake an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening.

• National Police Check (or willing to obtain)

• CMI check (or willing to obtain)

What you will be doing:

• Learn how to safely operate Dump Trucks in a coal mining environment

• Working both Day and Night shifts on a Monday - Friday roster

• Meeting KPIs within the coal production environment

Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $33.39 per hour base rate + penalties

• Additional night shift allowance of $5 per hour

• Retention bonus available paid at 6, 9 and 12 months ($12K per year)

• Additional hourly allowances to bump up your pay after your first 3 months:

• Allowance 1: $4 per hour paid weekly

• Allowance 2: $3 per hour paid quarterly

• 10.5 hour shifts 

• 7/4, 5/5 roster enjoy a great work life balance

• Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
