About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our client based in West Perth. The successful candidate will be manage effectively a planning and progress control system in order to support the Project Manager decision making process, allowing them to complete the project according to the internal baselines and in compliance with contractual requirements. This will include ensuring each deviation from the plan is analysed and corrected.

Responsibilities will Include:

• Ensure the development of the project schedule according to the commercial needs

• Participate in commercial risk management activities

• Ensure the implementation of the planning and progress control systems are aligned with project breakdown structure, company standards and contract specifications.

• Prepare all baseline documents and ensure planning and scheduling requirements are properly communicated

• Issue the planning and scheduling procedures, progress measurements procedure and risk management plans for the project control manager verification

• Coordinate the risk management activities and identify as required.

• Update all project schedules

• Assist the Project Control Manager in the project status report preparation

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a similar role

• Oil & Gas project experience

• Offshore project experience (preferred)

• Attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

• WA C Class Drivers Licence
