About the Role

Workpac are seeking an Experienced Earthmoving Plant Operator (ie. Front end loader, excavators, material handler, forklift)for ongoing work with our client based at Kemps Creek or St Mary's, NSW. Your duties will encompass ensuring site cleanliness and compliance with regulations, operating various vehicles and equipment, and monitoring waste processing procedures.

What you will be doing:

Operation of Earthmoving Equipment: Proficiently operate earthmoving equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators, material handlers, and forklifts to facilitate waste processing activities.

Hazardous Waste Processing: Perform general duties related to the processing of hazardous waste, with a focus on contaminated soil. This includes loading, unloading, and transferring waste to designated containers such as drums or tanks.

Site Maintenance and EPA Compliance: Ensure cleaning and site housekeeping are consistently maintained to uphold a professional presentation of the facility and meet EPA requirements.

Safety and Compliance: Operate vehicles and equipment safely in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations. Adhere strictly to operating procedures and company safety protocols.

Monitoring and Analysis: Operate and monitor equipment to ensure waste is processed in line with defined procedures. Conduct waste analysis to required standards and complete necessary paperwork and records.

Communication: Maintain strong, positive two-way radio communication to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.

What you need:

• Experience and tickets to operate a Loader, Excavator, Forklift and or Material Handler.

• Drivers Licence

• Strong commitment to safety, with a demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and in accordance with regulations and company policies.
