Precast Concrete Worker

Enjoy the dynamic environment of our newly built pre-cast facility located in Condell Park.

Days & Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday

7:00 am to 3:00 pm

(30-minute lunch break)

Level 1 Duties:

• Set up molds or forms according to specifications for pouring concrete.

• Mix concrete ingredients manually or using machinery such as concrete mixers.

• Pour concrete into molds or forms, ensuring it spreads evenly and fills all spaces.

• Smooth and level concrete surfaces using tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats.

• Place and secure reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh within concrete forms.

• Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, or hoists to move and position precast concrete elements.

• Remove molds or forms from cured concrete pieces carefully to avoid damaging the product.

• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Inspect finished precast elements for defects or imperfections and make necessary repairs or adjustments.

• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting precast concrete elements to designated locations.

• Patch and repair damaged or defective precast concrete elements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in concrete work or construction preferred but not essential.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
