About The Role
WorkPac are seeking a Project Advisor to join a construction project implementation team for Rio Tinto Sustaining Capital on a FIFO 8/6 roster to East Pilbara.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide site contractor management, construction expertise and implementation skills to deliver projects safely in a sustainable, timely, suitable and cost-effective way.
Ensure all site construction activities comply with and are delivered to Rio Tinto standards and policies for HSE.
Coach on safe behaviours through daily field leadership.
Establish effective relationship with Contractor supervisors and teams, built around trust and empathy.
Coach and mentor contracting partners in all aspects of HSE.
Review all levels of risk assessment (L2RA, SWP, Take 5 etc).
Carry out CCFV, CRM Coaching and Quality Safety Interactions.
Lead Level 1 incident investigation ensuring actions are completed and closed out.
Review and issue all required Permits dependant on Site requirements (eg. General Permits, W@H, Confined Spaces).
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction.
Previous Rio Tinto project construction experience.
Current WA C Class Driver's license.
Strong decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lead, influence and motivate.
