About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced and reliable Project Engineersfor a variety of positions across Perth & the Pilbara for our client Rio Tinto.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for project delivery along with theproject management team for Facilities Infrastructure-related projects.

• Initiate and progress Feasibility stage programs of work into execution.

• Liaising with internal/external stakeholders and ensuring clear communications around program progression and impact assessment.

• Assisting with preparing tender documents and reviewing tender submission

• Reviewing construction plans and methodology

• Reporting progress to multiple stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical/Civil Engineering

• Have a proven capability in safety management systems and coaching external parties to improve behaviours and performance.

• Experience in project engineering fundamentals including design review processes

• Experience in contract negotiations from tender phase through to execution-side engagements.

• Working knowledge of SAP would be preferential.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and be driven to achieve results

• Current C Class Australian Licence

• Full Working Rights in Australia
