About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Project Lead to Lead the delivery of new autonomous mining technology deployments and upgrade projects across RTIO Pilbara operations with a focus on drill and blast. This role will be based in Perth on a Monday to Friday roster with a 12 month duration.

What you will be doing:

• Managing performance, scheduling, logistics and safety of contractors

• Managing project scheduling, financial forecasting and purchasing

• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of project documentation

• Lead Feasibility Studies and prepare project funding requests for new Mining Technology deployment opportunities

What you will be need:

• Strong Project Management skills and experience within an operational mining environment

• Control System experience - Komatsu FrontRunner or Caterpillar Command control systems

  • Extensive stakeholder liaison experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Experience in commissioning or maintenance of mobile equipment

  • Experience in the deployment of new technologies

  • Mining Production exposure with autonomous trucks, drills or dozers

  • Supervised teams within a mining environment

  • Familiarity with project business case development and funding approval processes

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (control systems, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or technology)
