About our Client

About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced Projects Lead for a variety of projects, responsible for medium construction & building projects across their East and West Pilbara operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for establishing a program approach to the portfolio to maximise value for our customers and streamline our delivery method.
Key Responsibilities mayInclude:
Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external teams and stakeholders to understand their needs
Provide guidance and support to Project Leads and Engineers leading similar projects
Utilising the project procedures to move projects through various stages of the project life cycle
Working with and providing guidance to the project design and support teams in the delivery of projects ensuring project objectives are met.
Engaging with stakeholders to understand client requirements and provide updates of activities in accordance with the project schedule.
Reporting on project progress, cost forecasting and analysis in accordance with Capital Accounting principles.
Deliver the project utilising the Rio Tinto Framework and seek capital funding to support each phase of the project.
Demonstrating leadership and positive behaviours to the project team and stakeholders in line with Safety, Culture and Rio Tinto core values.
Actively participate in safety programmes.
Shutdown planning to ensure the risk of project overrun is reduced.
Skills and Experience Required:
Project Management qualification or a relevant degree in Engineering
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels
Strategic and methodical in analysing information
Core project delivery skills (cost, schedule, quality) developing cost estimates, managing budgets, and developing and managing schedules.
Technical experience in multi-disciplinary projects for built form, facilities, and infrastructure projects.
Commercial experience developing and managing contracts, assessing claims and dispute resolution.
