About Our Client:

Coppabella Mine is located only 140km southwest of Mackay and is a Surface Mine utilizing a Dragline, Dozer and Truck & Shovel method.

About the Role:

In partnership with Peabody, WorkPac has an opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join the team on a 5:2, 4:3 roster at their Coppabella based operation. Residential, DIDO or FIFO options available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of maintenance strategies for equipment?

• Carrying investigations including Root Cause Analysis to develop corrective strategies

• Advise on and facilitate the maintenance improvement and defect elimination projects

• Statutory compliance

• Condition monitoring

• Component reliability

• Document writing

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline and previous maintenance or reliability experience within a mining environment

• Previous experience with CMMS Systems such as SAP, proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable

• Business improvement exposure

• Knowledge of Maintenance Work Control process and requirements

• Knowledge of Maintenance KPI???s, downtime and business reporting systems

• High level of written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of reliability modelling and concepts FMECA, RCM, etc.

• Current C Class Australian Licence

• Full Working Rights in Australia
