Established in 2021???, our client is a leading mining contractor which has been delivering end-to-end mining services across diverse locations and commodities in Australia for 75 years. Our client currently operate 7 sites across Queensland with strong plans for expansion.

What Will You Be Doing?

WorkPac is seeking a dedicated and reliable Service Person to join our team on a QLD Coal Mine in the Bowen Basin. This role is an integral part of our maintenance department, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our equipment and facilities.

Working on a 7/7 roster at one of Australia's largest open pit coal mines, near the town of Dysart in the Bowen Basin your duties will include:

• Perform refuelling, servicing and maintenance works to including excavators, dozers, dump

• Regularly communicate with production staff regarding timelines for repairs and service

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Some equipment you will be working on will include:: Watercarts CAT 777, 785 & larger Dump Trucks, CAT 789, 793, Hitachi 5000 or similar, Dozers D10, D11 or similar, Graders 16M, 18M, 24M Grader, Excavators Hitachi 3600, 5600 & 8000 or similar.

What You Will Need:

• Mine site experience working on Heavy Duty mining equipment ??? essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with with good fault finding and diagnostic skills.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.

• Valid driver's license.
