About the Position:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced construction safety advisor or supervisor with a passion for high rise building projects. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a High Rise Construction Safety Advisor. This position is a Monday to Saturday roster for an initial 18-month duration, potential for extension.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of the company's health and safety policies on the construction site

• Conduct regular hazard assessments and inspect work sites to identify potential risks

• Provide recommendations to reduce or eliminate identified risk exposures

• Train and mentor on-site personnel on health and safety policies and proper use of tools and equipment

• Review and approve work permits for high-risk jobs

• Investigate and report all accidents and near misses

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Conduct all site inductions and collect relevant tickets and licences

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a construction safety advisor or supervisor

• General knowledge of construction and high rise building projects

• Demonstrated understanding of relevant health and safety regulations

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead and manage a team

• Relevant certifications in workplace health and safety (min Cert III)
