5:2 4:3 Roster Site Based opportunity Join a global leader in the Mining and Resources sector About our client: Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance. About the Role: WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Scheduler to join our client with Rio Tinto, in their Engineering and Asset management division. This role will be based on site working a 5:2 4:3 Roster, FIFO ex Perth working day shift 12 hours day. Duties and Responsibilities Review identified shutdown / major work, highlighting key drivers, and developing an activity list / scope. Prepare for the required key meetings, including scope challenge workshops, to support shutdown management process with relevant stakeholders. Review internal and external labour, accommodation, and flight capacities / constraints. Review material availabilities and status. Review allocated shutdown budget identifying variances and potential savings. Develop maintenance shutdown schedule based on activity list, including operational ramp-down/ramp-up, isolations/de-isolations, critical path, parts kitting, and staging. Engage and arrange external contractors / suppliers and maintain availabilities in CR12 Print work packs Skills and Experience Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS program. Experience in project management, large shutdowns, and critical path development. Effective organisational and time management skills to manage a wide-ranging and priority changing workload. Excellent attention to detail. Intermediate / Advance MS Project / Excel. Ability to work in a team and prioritise tasks & common goals. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
