About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Leader based within Gladstone or Brisbane for an immediate start to lead decarbonisation projects.

This position will hold an Monday to Friday roster working 40-45 hours per week. Occasional travel to Gladstone if not residential will be a requirement of the role. 

To be successful within this position you will be an experienced Project Leader - Able to complete concept, OOM, FS and execution of small to large capital projects. Ideally you will hold a power generation of calcination background across combustion, renewables, boilers, gas turbines or hold engineering R&D based skills such as the display ability to optimise concepts, develop technology, provide practical know-how to flow sheets, constructability, commissioning experience.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years experience across small to large capital projects within an engineering, heavy industrial or refinery environment. 

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent

• Power generation or calcination background â combustion, renewables, boilers, gas turbines - Highly Regarded 

• Engineering R&D based skills â display ability to optimise concepts, develop technology, provide practical know-how to flow sheets, constructability, commissioning experience - Highly Regarded 

• Site integration skills â tie in equipment, technology, flow sheets into existing fixed plant

• Require good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, ability to progress multiple projects in parallel, manage risks, manage costs, manage external engineering service providers, review engineering deliverables

• Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
