We are currently looking for:

Workpac are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Service Cart Operator to join the Infrastructure Team with our client based just outside Singleton in the Hunter Valley. The successful candidate will be working 10 hour day shifts on a Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday alternating roster.

What you will be doing:

• Performing servicing, diagnosis and repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment including Mine De-Watering Pumps, Stationary Generators and Fixed Engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, Kubota.

• Maintenance and repairs of a variety of Forklifts, Skid Steer and rubber tyred type loaders, floor sweepers and multi-handling devices.

• Maintenance and repair of Hydrocarbon systems and Fuel Farms

• Operation of light vehicles across the mine site and within the pit areas

• Operation and use of specific service vehicles to carry out planned and scheduled servicing and mechanical inspections.

• Operation and use of pressure washing vehicle to carry out routine cleaning tasks.

What you will need:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications

• Current drivers licence and reliable transport

• Work Safely at Heights

• Experience in similar roles

• Experience with fault finding, problem diagnosis and repair of mine water pumping systems such as Sykes, Tru-flo, Multiflow and Legra would be highly regarded.
