Shutdown Construction Supervisor (Sourcing Order)
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Shutdown Construction Supervisor reporting to the Project Manager (commercial) and Outage Superintendent (site activities)
About the Role:
The incumbent is to ensure the efficient liaison and management of contractors assigned to the SCAH upgrade project, including, job schedule review and monitoring, variation management, progress reporting to the outage superintendent and project manager, quality, safety and industrial relations, in order to achieve desired project outcomes.
To clearly communicate the requirements and expectations of the Position in alignment with the strategic direction

needs of the organisation. This Position Description may be reviewed and updated to reflect the changing needs ofthe business.

Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent has the authority to take any reasonable action which is consistent with the responsibilities
of the position subject to any limitations set the by the Contract Manager.
In line with the TWPS Authorities Matrix
Overall project site execution performance
Oversee subcontractors perform and ensure that they are in successfully and safely execute the project
scope within the agreed schedule.
Health and safety of all TWPS associated personnel and subcontractors employed within the site, plus
stakeholders within TWPS responsibility.
Maintain the Project site Safety Management Plan and associated procedures.
Ensure that all associated subcontractor complies with the site HSE requirement.
Liase with subcontractors, Worley outage team and Synergy to identify and resolve on site project challenges.
Engage in daily meeting with the relevant subcontractors representative and outage team.
Liase and project weekly project update to the Project Manager.
Reports to TWPS Project Manager.
Works close with TWPS Outage Manager, HSEQ, Contract Accountant, Payroll, HR, etc.
INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
Experience in Power industry support operations.
Knowledge of Asset Management strategies in relation to industrial systems.
Experience in heat exchanger and or pressure piping and equipment.
History of plant operations (desirable).
Demonstrates knowledge with contract budgets.
JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
Problem solving associated with construction, subcontractor coordination and schedule delay.
Effective construction methodology.
Development and implementation of effective communication strategies with subcontractors.
Company policies and procedures development/implementation.
HSE CAPABILITY:
Demonstrable knowledge and practical site implementation of OHS&E legislation and duty of care.
Oversee and ensure TWPS HSE Standards are implemented and achieved.
Ensure regulatory commitments relating to plant are met and the relevant maintenance is carried out to
support this.
Provide HSE leadership and demonstrated commitment for site.
PEOPLE SKILLS:
Effective communication skills and an ability to influence others.
