Site Manager - Commercial & Industrial

Our client is a National Tier 2 builder with a company mandate to delivery exceptional projects from concept to completion. Having a broad range of capable trade and construction professional enables them to deliver quality service and advice to their clients. Over the years they have fine-tuned their strategy to focus on the markets they can add the most value to and they would be Aged Care, Commercial & Industrial and food and beverage.

They require an experienced Site Manager capable of running multiple project or circa $10Million

Responsibilities

Building industrial & aged care projects in Brisbane

• Produce and take ownership of the project Planning and Project Management Plan (PMP)

• Ability to multi-task run projects of circa $10M

• Adhere project planning and programming to run the subbies and trades onsite

• Undertake project cost reporting to senior management on a monthly basis

• Work with Contracts Administrator (CA) to formulate and procure all project trade packages

• Manage and administer client, client/s representatives and consultants.

About You:

• Proven experience on new build commercial construction projects over $5M

• Ideally, a relevant tertiary or trade qualification in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or similar.?

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with all site and office-based staff?

• Organised and process/systems driven with sound computer skills

• Ensure compliance with the Site Management Plan, WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017

• Manage the site construction activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).

• Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance.

• Maintain and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
