About Our Client

Batchfire Resources is the owner of Callide Mine in Central Queensland, an open-cut coal operation located 120km southwest of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela.

A long-standing operation, Callide Mine is an open-cut coal mine producing 11mtpa of thermal coal for domestic power generation, alumina refining, and export markets. The operation has extensive recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring a long-term future.

What Will You Be Doing

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with excellent communication skills. for the Production team. As an appointed Supervisor, the role is accountable for monitoring operating techniques and productivity. The role is responsible for the supervision of their appointed crew, including performance- and leave management.

• Be an effective leader and team member by demonstrating a commitment to safety and positive working behaviours;

• Lead production crews to achieve targets in accordance with mine plans and safety, policies, procedures and statutory requirements;

• Have an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business;

• Campaign continuous improvement within the operation.

What You Will Need

• S1,2,3 & G2

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• Current QLD Open Cut Examiner (OCE) ticket (Desirable);
