• 7/7 roster working 12.5 hours per day

• $80.00 per hour flat rate

• Permanent employment opportunity

• $182k per year

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor

What you will be doing:

• Use your initiative to clarify your tasks, initiate improvements and work with minimal supervision and in a coordinated manner with your peers

• Supervise and direct Operators including provision of pre-shift information, shift planning, and assigning employees to specific tasks

• Monitor production performance to ensure delivery of business-critical outputs

• Provide training, coaching and development, and maintain appropriate training documentation

• Maintain and develop safe working practices across the team and wider operation at all times

• Ensure shift planning is coordinated correctly to optimise production

What you will need:

• Mining or general heavy industry experience in a supervisor, team lead or leadership position

• Risk management experience

• Knowledge of OH legislation and statutory requirements in NSW

• Current Drivers Licence
