About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Civil and Drainage Supervisor to become part of our civil and mining client's team at their Balcatta office in Perth. This position involves a Monday to Friday schedule, occasionally including Saturdays and night shifts, and is primarily centered on a significant metropolitan civil project in Perth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating the workloads and performance of project team and subcontractors

• Providing and taking leadership responsibilities in health, safety, and environmental management

• An understanding of Traffic Management requirements and ensuring Traffic Management is implemented for work groups

• Developing work methods and rolling out short term construction programs in conjunction with the Engineers

• Planning daily/weekly production work

• Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through positive, proactive, and professional communication

• Completing progress reporting and activity reports for shift

• Interpreting and reviewing plans, design documentation, and drawings

• Providing construction review and assisting with final design changes

• Identifying and mitigating risks prior to work commencing

• Communicating with and engaging relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to a risk management culture

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the Civil Construction and or Infrastructure sectors

• Relevant Main Roads experience in a previous role is highly desirable

• Road and PSP construction, finishing works and general experience of road works

• Strong understanding in the area of main roads construction

• Current C Class Australian Licence

• Full Working Rights in Australia
