What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include managing overflow accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of tax-related documents, and supporting various business clients. This entails handling company, trust, partnership, and sole trader accounts, along with occasional personal tax matters.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to:

• Utilize Xero Practice Manager and Xero Tax for accounting processes.

• Work with clients primarily using QuickBooks, MYOB, or Xero for their accounting needs.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Provide financial advice and support to clients to optimize their tax obligations.

This challenging role requires a committed, effective, and positive person to join a dynamic team dealing with a high volume of work.

What you will need:

To be successful for this role you would need to have:

• Proven experience in tax accounting and related processes.

• Competency in the use of Xero Practice Manager and Xero Tax.

• A sound understanding of various accounting software like QuickBooks and MYOB.

• Excellent and effective communication skills and attention to detail.

• Dedication and commitment to maintaining high standards of accounting practices.
