About the Role:

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Technical Officer to join our client based in Brisbane.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in maintenance of laboratory insect colonies adhering to protocols

• Assist senior technician with preparation and execution of bioassay experiments

• Operate laboratory equipment

• Collect and maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures

• Collection of experimental data

• Undertake maintenance activities of laboratories

Skills and Experience:

• A degree or diploma in Agricultural or Applied Science of similar field

• Current valid C class driver licence

• Knowledge of chemistry and use of chemical insecticides

• Practical experience in molecular biology
