About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Technical Writers to join the team at Rio Tinto based in Perth. The successful candidates will work a 5/2 roster based in Perth. This role will be casual with a 6 month duration and have potential to extend.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Able to travel to site as required to gather information, observe technical documents in use for real-time feedback, pro-actively engage end users for review.

• Produce technical documents that are easy to understand using a combination of written and graphical means. These may include but are not limited to:

• Standard/Safe work procedures (SWPs); Quick reference guides (QRGs); Bill of Materials catalogues (BOMs)

• Follow Rio Tinto Information Management System document control process, and technical writing guidelines & templates.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in Technical writing in the Mining industry

• Software: Microsoft office - excel, word and outlook, teams and SharePoint

• Current C class drivers licence
