WorkPac has partnered with Batchfire, seeking New to Industry Operators to join the production team at Batchfire Callide Mine on a New to Industry Operator Program.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant equipment, consisting of CAT 785, 789, Hitachi 4500, 5000 and Komatsu 930 Dump Trucks

• Work Lifestyle Roster (4/5, 5/4, 5/5) Including PJ Day

• 12.5 Hour Shifts

• Maintain equipment.

• Operate equipment safely.

• Follow company policies and procedures.

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Commitment to safe work behaviours and adherence to site safety procedures

• A valid Australian Driver Licence

• Local candidates of Biloela are encouraged to apply, or who are willing to secure local accommodation permanently in Biloela will be considered.

• Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment.

• Basic computer and numeracy skills

The following qualities will also be highly regarded but not essential:

• Background in a Construction, Civil, Logistics or Agricultural Industry

• Previous machine operating experience

• Previous experience working shifts/rosters.

• Current Standard 11

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Other Coal Industry Qualifications
