ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Join Our Client, a leading provider of integrated transportation and information management solutions, as a Service Desk Controller. Cubic is at the forefront of shaping smart and connected cities, ensuring seamless transportation experiences for millions of people worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Service Desk Controller, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch support to Cubic's diverse customer base. Your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally

  • Monitoring the smart card network for security alarms, faults, and maintenance requirements.

  • Logging all incidents and requests in ServiceNow, assigning them to the appropriate area for resolution.

  • Dispatching field technicians to respond to requests

  • Escalating high-priority issues to the Team Leader

  • Working closely with the field team to ensure efficient coordination and dispatch of services.

  • Participating in disaster recovery/business continuity planning and testing.

  • Handling ad hoc requests and assisting in the documentation of internal procedures for day-to-day operations.

  • Reporting all WHSE incidents, potential hazards, near misses, and accidents.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a service desk or customer support role.

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot faults effectively..

  • Experience in dispatching field technicians and managing schedules.

  • Knowledge of smart card networks, security alarms, and maintenance procedures.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by reporting incidents and hazards.
